Shaker Cosmos card

Hey all,

Spring is in the air…at least that’s what I wish was true. Unfortunately the North East is receiving what appears to be a second winter.. shall we call it Sprinter? (spring +winter).

In order to not go cabin fever crazy I decided to make a spring type card! Today I used the Simon Says Stamp Cosmos background cling Stamp as the main focus of my card.

First I colored in those beautiful cosmos flowers by Simon Says Stamp with my Copic markers. With RV06, RV14 & RV66 I colored the pink flowers. I used Yr16 & Yr18 for the orange flowers. I used Y04,Y06 & Y08 for the yellow flowers and finally B04 & B06 for the blue flowers.

Next I ( insert cringe worthy face here) cut out a few flowers.

The next step I took was to add some plastic to cover the cut out holes.

Using some foam adhesives squares, I lined the cut out area on the back of the plastic.

Looking through the window plastic I placed the cut out flowers directly under the windows onto the front of the white card stock I plan to use as my card base.

Next I turned the card stock over to add some Neat & Tangled ” Like Magic “sequins into the windows and finally added some long strips of adhesive foam to the rest of the card.

( Tip ) don’t turn it over like I did. I was picking up sequins forever!!! LOL ๐Ÿ˜‚

Once all the backing was off of the adhesive strips I placed the card base on top.

Using some versaMark I stamped an thank you so much sentiment on black card stock with white detail embossing powder.

I attached the thank you so much sentiment to the front bottom right corner of the card.

Let me know what you think and of course feel free to show me your renditions of this card.

Have a wonderful day my crafty superstars!
